You were never supposed to carry all this alone. You were just never given a choice.— Malik Yusef
I’m going to talk to you man-to-man. Not as a therapist. Not as a program. As someone who has lived inside the same trap most men live in, and who spent years not even knowing it was a trap.
The system that claims to be built for men doesn’t actually serve most men. It gives us a badge — the badge of manhood — and with that badge comes all the blame and none of the power. We become providers, protectors, shock absorbers for everyone around us. We regulate the room before we ever check in with ourselves. We learn to read the temperature of a situation faster than we learn to name what we’re feeling. And then we wonder why we’re exhausted — or we stop wondering and just keep going.
This curriculum is not about making men weak. It’s about making men whole. It’s about naming what’s actually happening so we can stop suffering in silence and start building something real — with each other, with the people who love us, and inside ourselves.
You deserve to feel the full range of what you are. That’s not weakness. That’s what was taken from you. Let’s go get it back.
Not “how are you doing?” — everyone lies about that. Not “how do you feel?” — most men haven’t been trained to know.
This question asks for the mechanism. The drink. The work. The silence. The music. The anger. The running. Whatever you’ve built across your exterior life and your interior one.
There is no wrong answer. The point is to start locating feeling in the body instead of in the room.
Choose what fits where you are. The fundamentals stay the same; the format meets you where you live.

Reclaiming the Man aggregates mental health resources from organizations doing the work, so men can find what already exists in one place. The base resources are free. Accelerated services — one-on-ones, private discussion groups, the full facilitator-led curriculum — are in development.
